        Abstract
The book “Inquiry-based Learning in Biology and Mathematics Classroom" is aimed at secondary school teachers as well as teacher educators for both pre-service and in-service teachers. It presents a collection of ready-to-use teaching materials. Tasks and activities were developed as part of professional development courses for pre-service and in-service teachers and tested by teachers for their practical suitability. All tasks are embedded in the curriculum as well as in the world of work and described in terms of objectives, planning, implementation and possible results. Teachers can either use them as they are or pick ideas for designing their own inquiry-based teaching units. For all modules, subject-specific theoretical basics are explained and further literature or links are offered. Links angeboten.
