Crises are not a new phenomenon for educational science. At present, however, crises such as climate change, the banking crisis, refugee movements, the coronavirus pandemic, the energy crisis and wars are bringing the disruptive, disparate and threatening to the fore. As such, crises and transformations also challenge educational discourse and pedagogical action. The 29th Congress of the German Society for Educational Science explored the associated questions from a variety of perspectives and with different focal points. This volume documents the central contributions to the congress and provides an insight into the latest discourses.en_US
