    Abstract
As the contributions of this volume and its predecessors (Viennese Slavic Almanac Vol. 33 and Sbd. 37 as well as Specimina philologiae Slavicae Supplementband 42) show, there are neither thematic or theoretical prescriptions nor a determination of the slavine for the slavegirl meeting. The articles thus reproduce Slavic linguistics in a very broad spectrum: from generative grammar to functional grammar to dialogue analysis and from Bulgarian to Czech to Russian.
