        Abstract
Under the simple title "Serbian Songs" or "Folk Songs of the Serbs", creations of Serbian folk poetry have found their way into German literature since the beginning of the last century. There was something different: an important translator, the interest of important contemporaries, and the flow of romance, which helped the poems to travel happily. Translated by Stefan Schlotzer. With a comment by Erika Beermann.
