A First 2 MW-Class (136)/170/204 GHz Multi-Frequency Gyrotron Pre-Prototype for DEMO: Design, Construction and Key Components Verification

        Ruess, Tobias (2023)
A gyrotron is used in magnetically confined plasma experiments for heating, current drive, plasma stabilization and plasma diagnostics. This work presents the first design and construction of a multi-frequency / multi-purpose ...

Thermomechanischer Kontakt und stochastische Dynamik gleitender Körper mit rauen Oberflächen

        Oestringer, Lukas Julian (2023)
Within this work, the friction coefficient is calculated for the dry contact of two sliding metallic bodies as a function of various physical parameters. For this purpose, a thermomechanical model is developed and evaluated ...

Thermomechanical Modeling and Experimental Characterization of Sheet Molding Compound Composites

        Lang, Juliane (2023)
The aim of this work is to model and experimentally characterize the anisotropic material behavior of SMC composites on the macroscale with consideration of the microstructure. Temperature-dependent thermoelastic behavior ...

Self-learning Anomaly Detection in Industrial Production

        Meshram, Ankush (2023)
Configuring an anomaly-based Network Intrusion Detection System for cybersecurity of an industrial system in the absence of information on networking infrastructure and programmed deterministic industrial process is ...

        Das Mobilitätsskelett

        von Behren, Sascha (2023)
Seemingly detached from attractive mobility alternatives in cities the car remains highly relevant in personal mobility. In order to investigate the role of the car, a new survey concept for a multidimensional analysis of ...

Technology and readout for scaling up superconducting nanowire single-photon detectors

        Knehr, Emanuel Marius (2023)
This work presents three advances to scale SNSPDs from few-pixel devices to large detector arrays: atomic layer deposition for the fabrication of uniform superconducting niobium nitride films of few-nanometer thickness, a ...

Fiber Orientation Tensors and Mean Field Homogenization

        Bauer, Julian Karl (2023)
Effective mechanical properties of fiber-reinforced composites strongly depend on the microstructure, including the fibers' orientation. Studying this dependency, we identify the variety of fiber orientation tensors up to ...

Vertrauen in Roboter und dessen Beeinflussbarkeit durch sprachliches Framing

        Kopp, Tobias (2022)
Collaborative robots (cobots) enable human-robot interactions in the workplace without safety fences. An appropriate level of trust by employees is critical to the success of these interactions. Anthropomorphic perceptions ...

Auf der Suche nach der eigenen Alma Mater

        Pullat, Raimo; Liibek, Tõnis (2022)
The book provides a thorough overview of Estonians and other Estonian-born students who studied at various European universities of technology before the Second World War. In addition to Saint Petersburg and Riga, Gdansk, ...

        EAS Elements for Solid Mechanics

        Pfefferkorn, Robin (2023)
Proposed in the early 1990s, the enhanced assumed strain (EAS) method is one of the probably most successful mixed finite element methods for solid mechanics. This cumulative dissertation gives a comprehensive overview of ...
