Theory And Phenomenology Of Sparticles: An Account Of Four-dimensional N=1 Supersymmetry In High Energy Physics

Drees, Manuel; Godbole, Rohini; Roy, Probir (2005)
Supersymmetry or SUSY, one of the most beautiful recent ideas of physics, predicts sparticles existing as superpartners of particles. This book gives a theoretical and phenomenological account of sparticles. Starting from ...

        Phenomenology Of Ultra-relativistic Heavy-ion Collisions

        Florkowski, Wojciech (2010)
This book gives an introduction to main ideas used in the physics of ultra-relativistic heavy-ion collisions. The links between basic theoretical concepts (discussed gradually from the elementary to more advanced level) ...

        Nuclear Radiation Interactions

        Yip, Sidney (2014)
This book is a treatment on the foundational knowledge of Nuclear Science and Engineering. It is an outgrowth of a first-year graduate-level course which the author has taught over the years in the Department of Nuclear ...

        Classical Charged Particles (Third Edition)

        Rohrlich, Fritz (2007)
Originally written in 1964, this famous text is a study of the classical theory of charged particles. Many applications treat electrons as point particles. At the same time, there is a widespread belief that the theory of ...

Release Of Thermonuclear Energy By Inertial Confinement, The: Ways Towards Ignition

        Winterberg, Friedwardt (2010)
This is a comprehensive book which describes the three essential parts of what is known as "Inertial Confinement Fusion": the way thermonuclear burn takes place in non-magnetized, magnetized and fusion-fission hybrid ...

Bayesian Reasoning In Data Analysis: A Critical Introduction

        D'agostini, Giulio (2003)
This book provides a multi-level introduction to Bayesian reasoning (as opposed to “conventional statistics”) and its applications to data analysis. The basic ideas of this “new” approach to the quantification of uncertainty ...

        Contemporary Accelerator Physics

        Tzenov, Stephan Ivanov (2004)
This book adopts a non-traditional approach to accelerator theory. The exposition starts with the synchro-betatron formalism and continues with the linear and nonlinear theories of transverse betatron motion. Various methods ...
