| dc.description.abstract | The transformation towards a carbon-neutral society can only succeed in cooperation with citizens and not against them. This edited volume shows ways to achieve this goal. It presents the results of the interdisciplinary project “Experiencing Politics and Law, Shaping the Future” and the project itself. Citizens were at the centre of the project. Supported by experts in law and political science, they developed ideas on how to improve citizen participation in climate policies. In sum, the contributions form a dialogue between the citizens’ perspective, legal and political science analyses and the views of practitioners. | |

| oapen.description.otherlanguage | Die Klimawende kann nur mit den Bürger*innen gemeinsam gelingen – nicht gegen sie. Die Beiträge dieses Sammelbandes zeigen hierfür Wege auf. Der Band stellt die Ergebnisse des Projektes „Politik und Recht erleben, Zukunft mitgestalten – Potentiale und Grenzen der Bürger*innenbeteiligung bei der Klimawende“ und das Projekt selbst vor. Dabei stehen die Bürger*innen selbst im Zentrum. Auf der Grundlage von rechts- und politikwissenschaftlichen Impulsen haben Bürger*innen Vorschläge insbesondere dazu erarbeitet, wie Beteiligung an klimarelevanten Entscheidungen verbessert werden kann. In der Summe der Beiträge entsteht ein Dialog zwischen der Sichtweise der Bürger*innen, rechts- und politikwissenschaftlichen Analysen sowie den Perspektiven von fachlich einschlägigen Praktiker*innen. |
