Dass diese Annahme mindestens fraglich ist, zeigt Philipp Naucke in seiner historisch sensiblen Analyse der Formation staatlicher Strukturen und der Handlungsmöglichkeiten der kleinbäuerlichen Friedensgemeinde San José de Apartadó in der Konfliktregion Urabá. Seine detaillierte und einfühlsame Ethnographie paradoxer Begegnungen zwischen staatlichen Institutionen und Gemeindemitgliedern macht die Verantwortung eines »klientelisierten Staates« in der sozio-kulturellen Produktion des Gewaltkonfliktes sichtbar - und liefert besonders für den aktuellen Friedensprozess äußerst relevante Einsichten.
