At the turn of the millenium, we saw the start of a global change that supersedes traditional forms of government, defined in this book as oikocracy. It is characterised by an uncontrollable demand for money ahead of public interests and clan networks being the reference structure for its social system. Neoliberal Absolutism criticises this regression, suggesting that we need to develop new principles of government antagonistic to the old ones.
