The University of Alcalá (UAH) in Madrid (Spain) and the Organization of Ibero-American States (OEI) are organizing the XVII Ibero-American Meeting on Education (EIDE 2023) with the aim of continuing to offer a scientific, rigorous and committed space for interdisciplinary, interuniversity and international discussion and exchange, with a focus on the Ibero-American geographical and cultural context, responding to the need to continue analyzing the educational reality from a global and collaborative perspective, as demanded by all professional and academic fields of education. In this year 2023, in which the UAH commemorates the 25th Anniversary of its declaration by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site, we want to take this historical reference as a starting point to make significant contributions in the field of education; these contributions are raised from an open and committed social perspective, at a time of great challenges of transformation in the digital field, sustainability, inclusion, social justice and interculturality.en_US
