        Abstract
The impact of cultural factors on perceptions of and attitudes toward data protection and information privacy is often neglected. Yet, understanding these factors is crucial in our globalized world. This book presents and discusses a comprehensive cross-cultural comparative study on professionals’ perspectives regarding key data disclosure issues, showing how culture-specific factors can help to explain differences in this area.
