        Abstract
        1948 gehörte zu den Schlüsseljahren im 20. Jahrhundert: Der Kalte Krieg erlebte seinen ersten Höhepunkt. Berlin wurde zur dramatischen Bühne im Ost-West Konflikt. In dieser Zeit stieg Ernst Reuter zur wichtigsten Stimme für Freiheit, Demokratie und Selbstbestimmung auf. Peter Brandt stellt die Persönlichkeit und die historischen Leistungen des legendären 'Blockade-Bürgermeisters' vor. Er beschreibt, wie der Politiker Reuter mit Leidenschaft und moralischer Überzeugungskraft, aber auch mit nüchterner Sachlichkeit und Sachkenntnis die Geschicke der Halbstadt während der bedrohlichen Monate 1948/49 mitgestaltete.

        Export search results
