On-Demand Triple Modular Redundancy for Autonomous Vehicles
Abstract
One recent focus topic in automotive development is the move from manually driven vehicles to autonomous vehicles which no longer require human intervention. Instead, computers take over the driving task. This work proposes a novel, fault tolerant system, to comply to the exceptional high safety requirements of Autonomous Vehicles.
