Modeling martensitic phase transformation in dual phase steels based on a sharp interface theory

        Ruck, Johannes (2021)
Martensite forms under rapid cooling of austenitic grains accompanied by a change of the crystal lattice. Large deformations are induced which lead to plastic dislocations. In this work a transformation model based on the ...

On direct and inverse problems related to longitudinal impact of non-uniform elastic rods

        Burgert, Jens (2021)
The impact of two non-uniform elastic rods is considered and a recursive method was developed that solves the inverse problem: Find the location-dependent impedance function of the impacting rod that generates a prescribed ...

On the Electro-Chemo-Mechanical Coupling in Solid State Batteries and its Impact on Morphological Interface Stability

        Ganser, Markus (2021)
Solid state batteries with a lithium metal electrode are considered the next generation of high energy battery technology. Unfortunately, lithium metal is prone to harmful protrusion or dendrite growth which causes dangerous ...

Road Condition Estimation with Data Mining Methods using Vehicle Based Sensors

        Masino, Johannes (2021)
The work provides novel methods to process inertial sensor and acoustic sensor data for road condition estimation and monitoring with application in vehicles, which serve as sensor platforms. Furthermore, methods are ...
