    Abstract
The contributions in this volume, the second in the ""Saxifrages"" series, aim to study political fiction from the perspective of the politics of literature. The contributions explore the literary modalities of historical consciousness in relation to the political, social and poetic conditions of its writing, reception and dissemination. Our work examines the differential functions of the relationship between aesthetic practice and the conditions of its production, which are at the same time the conditions of its decoding, because it is possible to affirm that literature, whether in its most explicit or most elusive proposals of the political spectrum, always implements a different and distinct, even sometimes paradoxical, configuration of historical consciousness.
