    Abstract
Biologiedidaktik, Schulpädagogik oder Pädagogische Psychologie) Stellung nehmen.; This volume documents the efforts of the subject of Sachunterricht to promote young academics and the fruits that this work has borne. There are contributions on specific activities to promote young researchers in the Gesellschaft für Didaktik des Sachunterrichts (Society for the Didactics of Sachunterricht) and in another specialised scientific society. However, the main focus is on contributions from qualification theses on non-fiction teaching and its didactics. Six academics (Christina Beinbrech, Eva Gläser, Lydia Murmann, Claudia Tenberge, Bernd Feige and Michael Gebauer) report on the theoretical foundations, methodology and results of their doctoral or post-doctoral theses, which were written in the context of Sachunterricht. The contributions are each commented on by two "established" academics from the following points of view: The research interest of the respective work, methodological approach, significance of the results. One commentary on each article comes from the immediate circle of colleagues in subject didactics, the second commentary comes from colleagues who comment from the perspective of a relevant neighbouring discipline (e.g. biology didactics, school education or educational psychology).
