    Abstract
This volume contains a selection of the conference papers: a view of teacher training from the respective perspectives of a ministry official responsible for planning and a university lecturer, different requirements of the primary school curriculum for teacher training abroad (Denmark, USA), theory and practice as corresponding points of reference for research-based learning in the degree programme. Furthermore, the requirements of different areas of responsibility and content for the study programme in subject teaching are shown, such as didactic laboratory, regional subject teaching collection, technical education, "race" and discrimination, environmental education and chemical content.
