        Abstract
        Argentinien war zu Beginn des 20. Jahrhunderts eines der reichsten Länder der Welt, doch in der Bevölkerung herrschten Armut, Hunger und Wut. Die Befriedung von Arbeit und Kapital rückte nach dem Ersten Weltkrieg in den Mittelpunkt der Politik: Im Kontext der neu gegründeten Internationalen Arbeitsorganisation erhielt die Frage, wie international gültige soziale Rechte Demokratien und Volkswirtschaften in Krisenzeiten stabilisieren können, neue Relevanz. Simon Gerards Iglesias liefert neue Erkenntnisse über die transnationalen Dimensionen der Sozialpolitik in ihrer Entstehungsphase und beleuchtet die Komplexität des länderübergreifenden Austauschs zwischen Argentinien, Amerika und Europa.

        Export search results
