Abstract

The volume focuses on the translation of texts in its broadest meaning, from linguistic aspects to the transfer of culture and knowledge. Examples from Latin, English, Slavic, and Scandinavian philologies demonstrate the wide range of premodern exchange of literary and learned texts.
