        Abstract
The introduction proposes an interpretation of the ideas of work of our civilization that problematizes the question of the sociality of work. Remembering that for Karl Marx the novelty of the capitalist mode of production consists in the organization of a large number of workers under the "despotic" command of capital, that is, in the organization of an "collective worker" (Gesamtarbeiter), and that this sociality is abstract because it leads to cooperate abstract work ("work force") and not autonomous persons, the author poses the problem of the conditions that can transform this abstract sociality into a concrete sociality capable of contributing to the quality of work and having a weight in the overall organization of the company.
