Starting with a broad review question to explore European research contexts over the last two decades, the aim is to draw an overview of pedagogical, educational and formative, and interdisciplinary studies on urban regeneration from below in Europe. The aim is to focus on the most widely used methodologies and tools; to highlight the educational and training strategies implemented to foster the re-appropriation of urban public spaces by the subjects, groups and communities involved, with particular attention to young people.
