Chapter La professionalità per l’occupabilità in una lettura di genere
Abstract
Laws promoting gender equality are important. Still, they alone are not enough to bring about a significant change in the socio-economic dynamics that are responsible for creating an unequal gender distribution in the labor market. Women need access to vocational training to improve their chances of finding better employment opportunities. However, this training should be accompanied by public services for children, adolescents, and self-sufficiency so that women can reconcile their lives and work. Additionally, it is essential to promote a culture of equal opportunities and respect for gender.
