Abstract
The seventh annual EIB Climate Survey provides valuable insight into how Europeans view the challenges and opportunities of adapting to climate change in 2024. 94% – a strong consensus across the European Union – agree there is a need to adapt to climate change. 86% believe that investing in climate change adaptation can create jobs and boost local economies. 72% acknowledge they will have to adjust their lifestyles as the impacts of climate change become more severe.
