Im Kontext des indigenen Filmschaffens sind derartige Konflikte daher ein zentrales Thema. Wie werden Machtverhältnisse, unterschiedliche territoriale Vorstellungen und Mensch-Umwelt-Beziehungen hier verhandelt? Teresa Millesi analysiert eine Auswahl von Filmen unter Einbezug raumwissenschaftlicher und ökokritischer Ansätze. Im Zentrum steht dabei die Bedeutsamkeit der Filme als Widerstandspraxis gegen die nationalstaatliche Hegemonie.
