    Abstract
Why should gifted pupils be promoted? The answer is important for all kind of schools, also for vocational ones. Only after considering this question, it makes sense to ask, how the promotion should look like. This book focuses on justifications for the promotion of gifted students. First, by comparing different ethical perspectives on the matter and second, by exploring moral reasons of teachers, why or why not they promote gifted students. The research hereby focusses on vocational schools. Based on the findings there are given pedagogical recommendations for the promotion of gifted students in vocational schools, whereupon an inclusive perspective is highlighted.; Die Frage nach einer Begründung von Begabtenförderung stellt eine ernst zu nehmende Frage des Bildungswesens – auch des berufsbildenden – dar.
