    Abstract
    Schlözer, seines gewaltigen und facettenreichen Œuvres und seines politischen Engagements wegen im ausgehenden 18. Jahrhundert eine der bekanntesten Persönlichkeiten über die Grenzen des römisch-deutschen Reichs hinaus, repräsentierte einen Wissenschaftlertyp, der seine Prioritäten auf das disziplinierte Erkunden (kultur-)historischer Fakten und Datenbeschaffung setzte. Er war kein einfacher, kein »diplomatischer« Gesprächspartner, wurde von vielen gerade wegen seiner mutigen Direktheit bewundert; er galt als ein Hoffnungsträger, dessen Kritik viele Erwartungen weckte. Doch seine Wirkmächtigkeit währte – erstaunlicherweise – nicht bis ins Revolutionsjahr 1789. Zwischen die Stühle neu formierter politischer Gruppierungen geraten, setzte nun vielmehr sein Rückzug ein.

    Export search results

    The export option will allow you to export the current search results of the entered query to a file. Differen formats are available for download. To export the items, click on the button corresponding with the preferred download format.

    A logged-in user can export up to 15000 items. If you're not logged in, you can export no more than 500 items.
