Abstract

This book proposes a transnational, entangledand culturally diverse approach towards anarchaeology of film history, while paying specificattention to persons, objects, infrastructures,regions, institutional fields and events hithertooverlooked. It explores past and ongoing processesof doing, undoing and redoing film history.Thereby, in a self-reflective gesture, it also drawsattention to our own work as film historians.
