    Abstract
    This study is the first to present a source-critical biography and vocal profile of the singer Marianne Pirker (1717?–1782). Pirker's career is continuously reflected against the background of the production system of the 'opera seria' in the 18th century.
     
    In dieser Studie wird erstmals eine quellenkritisch aufgearbeiteten Biografie sowie das Vokalprofils der Sängerin Marianne Pirker (1717?–1782) vorgelegt. Pirkers Karriere wird dabei kontinuierlich vor dem Hintergrund des Produktionssystems der ›opera seria‹ im 18. Jahrhundert reflektiert.
